R2-D2 and C-3PO have unwittingly, or maybe wittingly in R2-D2's case, played a pivotal role in the Rebel Alliance's fight against he Galactic Empire. With their assistance, heroes of the Rebellion like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Leia Organa were able to bring down the Galactic Empire.
The miniatures found in this expansion are the same ones as found in the previously available SWL43 Crashed Escape Pod Battlefield Expansion, now available separately for the first time. Additionally this expansion provides the updated cards and rules for both these characters.
