or Defiler)
- Imperial Guard (one unit of up to three Sentinels)
- Eldar (Wraithlord or a unit of War Walkers)
- Orks (Ork Dreadnought or one unit of Killa Kans)
- Dark Eldar (Talos)
- Tyranids (Carnifex)
- Necrons (one unit of either Destroyers or Heavy Destroyers)

- Sisters of Battle (one unit of Penitent Engines)
UPGRADES: Each race may upgrade their dreadnought with any combination
of weapons they see fit (as long as it is normally available to their
dreadnought in their army listing in a normal codex). However, these
upgrades MUST be modeled on the dreadnought or they can not be used.
There are no point limits. Each player may only bring one dreadnought
or selection. There may be some restrictions on upgrades for specific
events (i.e. - no seachlights for a "blackout" event.) Your Arena Organizer
will let you know.
ARENA SETUP: Each game should be played on a 4x4 table with 6 players. (Or up to 10-12 players on a 4x6 table). Scenery will be pre-placed by the organizer, and any special environment rules will be announced before each match.
TURN ORDER: Players roll a D6 to see what order they take their actions in. This is determined each turn, so a player who is lucky could go first multiple times. This represents the uncertainty of the battlefield and keeps players on their toes!
ALL OTHER RULES: Turn phases, shooting, combat and all other rules are as in the 5 th Edition Warhammer 40K rulebook.
SPECIAL EFFECTS: Be aware that random events may and very likely will occur! As you can tell, this isn’t necessarily a “fair” or “balanced” fight. If you can beat all of your opponents as well as the special circumstances that may arise to thwart you, then you will deserve the title of Dread Arena Champion! |
